While in Ubud // Bali

Above, you get a bunch of pictures from fantastic Ubud. We had a total of 4 nights and I do not think I have experienced as much as we did on the days we had there. We rented a taxi for a whole day, which drove us around for just what we wanted - it must be said that it is super cheap to take a taxi down here. We started the day out to see their traditional Barong dance, then we were driven to the Elephant Cave, which is one of their MANY temples. Here we were blessed and it was a bit of a special experience if you ask me. Then we were driven to another temple, where you had the opportunity to bathe in their holy water. We also went to see a coffee plantage, and we tasted various coffee and tea (we bought of course something to bring home, they were all SO good). Then it was time to see the beautiful rice fields and you will probably see more pictures of that later. Of course it was a little warm, driving around a whole day - so we ended at the beautiful waterfall called Tegenungan. It was the coolest experience to be allowed to swim in! One of the days we also decided to climb Mount Batur, one of the volcanoes here in Bali. We got up at 03 at night and walked in the dark, each with our own flashlight - it was a wild experience. As you may also have spot in the pictures we have been out rive rafting, there was a free fall of 4 m, but otherwise it was just a stunningly beautiful 3 hour "cruise", with little bumps along the way. We also went to the Monkey Forrest in Ubud, but you will have to wait to see more photos. So we think we have experienced a lot, while in Ubud. Right now we are still on Gili T, we have booked another dive trip today - this time to Shark Point and yes, I am pretty nervous! It was a bit of a long post, but we are having a great time.
